The new Trakker Tempest RS range is the culmination of years of development from the team at Trakker and has led to a range of bivvies, shelters and accessories that is a dramatic improvement to the original Trakker Tempest.
Here we have a look at the features and improvements that have made the best even better!
The fast set up speed of these fishing bivvies is thanks to the new Rapid Knuckle System, this system enables all five main poles to lock into position in one efforless action, that makes set up as easy as Click-Fan-Lock. We even tested the set up time and was able to erect this bivvy in only 7 seconds!
To ensure durability of these clips, Trakker have overengineered the knuckles to ensure that the clips are not brittle. Made from glass reinforced nylon these knuckles have been designed to be taken up and down thousands of times!
A new feature on the Tempest RS is an integrated porch, which may not be an obvious standout advantage, but there are several benefits that this new addition provides.
Firstly, the extra coverage allows you to use the letterbox opening on this fishing shelter even when its raining, allowing you to survey the water in even the worst conditions.
Secondly, it reduces the set up time, as there is no need to add it on, as it is built in to the same Tempest block as the rest of the bivvy making set up seamless!
The adaptive ventilation system on new Tempest RS range now utilises ventilation panels on the back, side and has also been added to the front windows on the shelters full infill panel. These panels massively help to reduce condensation and help lower temperatures during hot summer days.
On each of the vent covers there are also two eyelets which when used with the Trakker Tempest RS Cool Guys will maximise air flow and increase shade and cover from the sun.
On each of the panels underneath the covers is a little bar which can be used to open up the panel at an angle, allowing you to have air flow even when its raining on humid days, with no worry of the rain getting into the shelter.
As with all Trakker bivvies, ther is whide range of accessories available so you can make this fishing shelter suit your exact fishing requirements.
Whether its a skull cap to further increase the coverage of your shelter, social caps designed to extend the space of your bivvy for longer carp fishing session both in the UK or Europe, or even insect panels to keep out the dreaded mosquitos on them summer evenings, Trakker have ensured that there is an accessory in the Trakker Tempest RS range for everyone!
As you would expect from a Trakker Tempest, this range of bivvies and shelters have been built to last with only the best quality materials being used.
The fabric used is an enhanced Aquatexx ripstop fabric, which not only performance, but is multi-layer making the material incredibly breathable great on them warm summer evening, while still offering an industry leading 25000mm hydrostatic head water repellency. This material has also been treated with a black out pigment to reduce light, heat ingress and prevent bleaching.
The block and poles on the rapid knuckle system have also been made from an Advanced GRP Composite material, making them no only incredibly lightweight but also super strong and fatigue-resistant.
