Wychwood Extricator MLT EVA Fishing Rods,
The 6ft Extricator rod has been designed specifically for high-octane hit'n'hold thrills. Using this rod to stalk carp in the edge is one of the most exciting ways to angle for our quarry. In 2014 we updated the Extricator legacy to include Multi-Layer Technology and the blank was re-developed to tackle even the biggest of fish. To date we know of several 40s that have been landed using Extricator stalking rods. The EVA handle provides a cult look and really completes the set-up, there's also a cork handle option in the range if you're into classic styling.
The 9ft Extricator rod has been designed for tackling intimate waters where casting a lead to the horizon isn't required. Although the rods can cast over 100yrds, they come into their own when fishing short to medium range in tight swims where conventional carp rods just won't cut it. They're the ultimate rod for stalking and small water angling. The EVA handle provides a cult look and really completes the set-up, there's also a cork handle option in the range if you're into classic styling.
The 10ft Extricator rod was originally designed due to a heightened demand from Europe for the ultimate boat work rod. Obviously, we obliged and made it, but what we didn't foresee was how well these rods would sell to anglers here in the UK. When we launched the 10fters in 2014 'mobile angling' was the buzz word that swept the nation and ever since anglers' across the UK have been ditching their 12ft rods and making the most of our 10ft counterparts, which are perfect for tackling any small to medium sized water, achieving casting distances of over 100yrds. The two foot difference pays dividends when used in a mobile manner and they certainly help you put more fish on the bank taking this approach. The EVA handle provides a cult look and really completes the set-up, there's also a cork handle option in the range if you're into classic styling.
