With the increase in popularity of short, retractable butt carp rods, the new XTRACTOR carp rods fill a real gap in the market for affordable top-quality rods that are easy to transport due to their short pack down lengths. Two 9 models and two 10 models with test curves ranging from 2.75lb to 3.5lb make up the range, with pack down lengths of 44 and 50. The super-slim matt black, part-telescopic carbon fibre blanks have plenty of reserve power in the butt section and a fast tip recovery to give surprising performance whether casting or playing large fish close in or at range. Lightweight black M-Series DL guides with anti-frap tip, 17mm DPS reel seat, full retro slim-cork handle, custom line clip and a black anodised butt cap, laser etched with S logo completes a top-quality specification. Ideal matched with the custom Sonik Xtractor rod sleeves, which are available in 9 and 10 lengths and can be easily connected for safe, effective transportation.
The Sonik Xtractor Carp Fishing Rods Cork Handle fill a gap in the market for affordable top-quality rods that are easy to transport due to their short pack down lengths. The popularity of short, semi-telescopic carp rods has dramatically increased and these Sonik Xtractor rods have been designed to cover a range of carp fishing situations from stalking in the margins to casting PVA bags at distance on a large carp lake.
This rod features a slim, silk matt black carbon fibre blank with a progressive casting action which offers amazing power on the cast giving these fishing rods true multi-range performance, with enough back bone in the rod to cope with even the largest of carp and cast PVA bags at incredible distance with frightening accuracy. Sonik have used super light M-Series DL black guides throughout the rod, making the rods incredibly lightweight, a hard wearing anti-frap ceramic tip rig and have included a black 17mm DPS reel seat which will house even the largest of big pit fishing reels.
Keeping with the sleek Sonik Rod style, this carp rod features a full retro slim cork style handle, line friendly custom contoured Sonik clip and a black anodised butt cap that has been laser etched with the trademark Sonik S logo. Available in a range of sizes including 6ft, 9ft and 10ft with a range of test curves from 2.75lb to 3.5lb to cover all your carp fishing requirements.
