The little brother to the X-Rap Otus, the X-Rap Peto, combines Rapala’s old structure with modern features to create the best lure for predator fishing. The X-Rap construction includes a beautiful colour matched soft tail to create a seamless hybrid bait.

The unique feature of the X-Rap Peto is that the lure is a hybrid of ABS Body that remains intact and durable against the sharp teeth of pike. The lure also has a soft PVC tail, however, this soft tail can be changed out quite easily. Thanks to the stainless six-plate system that holds the lure securely together, the tail can be threaded on to this structure before you reattached your treble hook.

With its slow sink rate and perfectly horizontal fall, X-Rap Peto is the ideal choice for challenging conditions. Such as in the spring, with the colder weather because it allows you to fish very slowly in shallow waters.

The X-Rap Peto is incredibly versatile, whether you fish in cold water, where the lure is able to maintain a steady rhythm, or you can burn the lure very fast in the summer for a quick reaction bite of the larger predators.

The lure has a lovely wobbling action, whilst the tail gives over strong kicking paddles. The tail kicks with a wide action when retrieved, alternatively, you can try jerk and pause methods to achieve a slower swim from the bait into the depths of the water.
