The flat-sided BX Swimmer features an articulated body with a double pivot joint which in combination with the responsive, solid balsa core creates a rolling, moderate swimbait action that starts on a very slow retrieve. The durable co-polymer hard shell protects the delicate balsa and allows highly detailed, life-like finishes. The BX Swimmer is weighted to be slow sinking and balanced for long casts.

This BX swimmer from Rapala builds on the classic balsa wood body insides, weighing 22g and 12cm in length, this lure has a responsive swimming action there is also internal X-Foil that helps give a swimming depth of around 1.2-1.8 metres which is aided by its slow sinking feature. You only need the smallest of movement to give a sufficient life to the lure thanks to the professional balanced body.
