International anglers Lee Kerry and Arnout Van De Stadt played a key role in developing the Ascension series of feeder fishing rods. They demanded a rod range that would cope with fishing all venues in Europe and, with their help, Ascension has delivered. Built from a high modulus carbon rod blank, these feeder fishing rods feature a progressive action where the top third of the rod is really forgiving and soft, but progressively powers up to the butt of the rod to help control casting heavy feeders when casting and play large fish such as carp and barbel. These feeder fishing rods are not just for natural waters and have been extensively tested on commercial venues.

These feeder fishing rods also a compact screw down reel seat, this ensures these feeder fishing rods feel nice in the hand, especially when working with your rod all the time. This screw down reel seat also allows you to use a wide range of fishing reels including larger distance feeder reels. Preston Innovations have used top quality guides throughout these feeder fishing rod so your fishing line can flow freely through the rings allowing you to hit even further distances whether you choose to use monofilament or braided fishing line. These feeder fishing rods are finished with a flat butt, which is great when playing large fish.

The Preston Ascension Feeder Fishing Rods offer a rod to suit everyone, with 5 different lengths to cover any coarse or match fishing situation. The 3.2m and 3.4m rods are beautiful rods for short range work. They feature soft actions perfect for targeting roach, skimmers, and bream at short to medium range. Looking for a top all-rounder? The 3.6m 60g Ascension is simply incredible. Featuring a dynamic action that allows a large range of feeders to be fished at 60metres whilst retaining a subtle touch for playing fish. If longer casts are required, then the 3.8m 80g and 4.0m 120g feeder fishing rods will deliver the performance needed. All Ascension feeder fishing rods are supplied with three carbon quivertips which perfectly blend into the Ascension range.

Short-range work is vital for continued success when fishing the feeder and this rod is purpose designed to target roach and skimmers with small hooks and lighter lines. The 3.2m is supplied with 0.5oz, 0.75oz1oz carbon quivertips.

Ideal for medium range feeder work with feeders up to 40g. At 3.4m in length this provides the soft action needed to use small hooks and light lines but has enough power in reserve to ensure bigger fish can be dealt with. Supplied with 0.5oz, 0.75oz1oz carbon quivertips
