Nash Titan TC
If you’re a carp angler who likes to keep mobile on the bank then you need look no further. The Titan TC is here and it is ready to protect the mobile angler from the very worst of the elements. This forms one of two ultra light bivvies in the brand new quartet of Nash Titans on the market.
The first of the upgraded features on this brand new Titan bivvy is its innovative glass filled nylon block design. This is the central boss system which holds all the ribs of the TC in place and gives the Titan its iconic ultra-quick setup. By reducing this weight, not only does it put less strain on the ribs of the bivvy but it also significantly reduces the transportation weight of the bivvy. In fact, the Titan TC tips the scales at a mere 9.5kg, making it a mobile angler’s transportation dream. As well as this improved blocks system, the bivvy also benefits from an improved frame design. This maximises the internal space of the bivvy by creating a virtually flat back on the shelter, allowing you to push your bedchair as far back in the bivvy as you like. With your bedchair flush against the rear of your bivvy, you’re left with acres of space out front for the storage of all your essential tackle items. Additionally, this new frame design incorporates extended front ribs, providing you with a storm peak.
The storm peak on the Titan TC is ideal for the year round angler who doesn’t want to let extreme climates spoil their fishing. In the colder months, the storm peak ensures that rain incursion is reduced to an absolute minimum and it prevents water entering through the door of the bivvy. The rain gutter on the peak also ensures that all water run off is directed down the sides of the bivvy, ensuring that you don’t have to deal with annoying drips or splash back from the front of your peak. In the summer months, the peak provides you with additional shade, ensuring that you can shelter out of the sun whilst watching out over your carp rods. This storm peak is fitted with twin rod straps, too, allowing you to make any terminal tackle adjustments on the bank and ensuring that you can respond effectively to the changing scene on the water.
The Nash Titan TC benefits from a rigid, free-standing design, which negates the need for tensioning straps. This means that you don’t have to worry about tensioning up your bivvy when you’re in a rush on the bank, allowing you to maximise the amount of time you spend angling. Not only is this bivvy quick to erect but its compact design also packs down to a mere 47 inches. This means that it can be easily slung in a barrow (or over your shoulder), allowing you to change swims with speed and agility. This bivvy comes supplied in its own dedicated carry bag, so there is no need to worry about purchasing additional luggage.
Although the TC is a single skin shelter, its 420D PU coated nylon construction ensures that you’re not going to be feeling the cold any time soon. This is almost double the denier of standard nylon shelters and it ensures that this bivvy can boast an impressive hydrostatic head rating, too. Water simply beads from it, making it the ideal portable wet weather shelter solution. The front panel of the shelter can be removed completely and it is fitted with a letter box style door. This means that you can peruse your swim from the shelter of your bivvy in the very worst weather. This door also offers you the option of a mesh infill, which is ideal for those hot and sticky summer nights.
