Nash Scope Shrink Handle Fishing Rod

The Nash Scope Shrink Handle Fishing Rod offers the proven performance of the 1K Scope carbon blend blanks with a classic shrink handle style.

Recognising the trend in carp fishing for heavier leads, and the extensive use of Nash Scopes for placing baits from bait boats and tackling extreme natural venues, these Scope Shrink Rods are available in a range test curves from 3lb to 3.5lb.

The 3.5lb Scope model, now features stepped up blanks which offer more power in the carp rod allowing it handle even the largest solid PVA bags, with ease.

Offering increased backbone for greater control with monster carp in fast flowing rivers or in snaggy and weedy environments and handling leads up to 6 oz these new additions to the Scope range bring short packdown performance to all. Furthermore, with a pack-down size of 50 inches (127cm), thanks to the retractable butt sections these Nash fishing rods are also easy to transport and perfect for squeezing into the tightest of swims.

These new Nash rods also look class on the bank with their understated styling, matt black whippings and minimal decals. Anti-frap tip rings are featured on the rod, which prevents tangles on the cast, giving you that extra confidence when needing to cast that extra distance. The butt caps on the rod are also laser etched with the Nash logo and all the Nash trademark high end Scope rod fittings are finished with the popular full length Japanese shrink grips.

All Scope Shrink rods feature a carbon line clip on the blank, which allows you to create the optimum angle for bite indication between the rod and bite alarms. A great advantage, as you can suit this for different carp fishing situations such as fishing down the margin with slack lines, or fishing a distance with tight lines.  

Nash Scope 10ft 3lb & 3.25lb models are perfect for handling heavier leads to 3.5 oz and with a more pronounced tip action for incredible accuracy up to 100 yards/metres on larger lakes. These scopes can cope with larger lakes, gravel pits and rivers, with uprated mid-section power for bigger carp and more demanding situations.

The Nash Scope 3.5lb Stepped Up Special is the choice for big pits, reservoirs or extreme rivers. Performing with leads of 3-6oz, at casting ranges up to 150 yards/metres the 3.5 lb Scope makes a great tool for distance PVA bag work or boating baits out. Kevin Nash has used these with great success at over 300 metres, yet the forgiving tip ensures playing fish at close range remains a pleasure.
