Fox Royale Barbel Specialist Rods
Designed to take the helm from Fox’s best selling Warrior S range, these Royale rods have been created with diversity of use in mind and perform equally well coarse fishing on rivers as they do specialist fishing on stillwaters. With four rods in the range, between 11ft and 13ft in length and boasting test curves between 1.5lb and 2.25lb (please check individual rod specifications before purchase), there is a Royale rod out there for every eventuality. Fox recommends the 11ft 1.75lb rod for hunting down larger chub that might be hiding in smaller or slower-flowing waters, and the 12ft 1.75lb or 12ft 2.25lb rods for targeting barbel on larger and faster flowing waters.
All the rods in the range boast a low resin carbon blank, ensuring that the rod is not only exceptionally lightweight but is also stiff – enabling the rod to demonstrate a faster action than its carbon fibre cousins. The high grade cork handle also works to keep the weight of the rod to a minimum, as well as aiding with grip and heat retention on cold days when handling the rod with damp hands. SILK guides ensure that the line runs along the length of the rod with ease and the rod also features a high quality 17mm reel seat.
The Royale Barbel Specialist rods from Fox have been finished in matt black, with gunsmoke cappings and modern, understated graphics. This ensures that this rod looks as good on the bank as it feels and wouldn’t look out of place paired with any of the top quality specialist fishing reels on the market.

Return of goods & Refunds
Any incorrect or damaged goods must be reported within 5 days of receipt. These will be replaced as soon as possible at no expense to yourself. All unwanted items must be either returned at your own expense or taken into your local Angling Direct store.
