The Drennan Super Spade Flurocarbon Feeder Rig (in 1m length) offers anglers a feeder rig build for success. Perfect for targeting big fish such as barbel, chub, tench and bream, this rig is arranged so that the hook bait will be a full metre from the feeder which often results in more bites, especially on clear rivers and still waters.

The mainline of choice for this rig is fluorocarbon for its abrasion resistance and low visibility in the water. Stiffer, straighter and less prone to spinning up than monofilament, using fluoro also helps the rig sink faster and it helps to hold the bait to the bottom better.

The hook on this feeder is a super spade hook which is bronzed and boasts a special bend with a medium shank to help with hook bait presentation and the micro barb helps to limit damage to the fish.
