Daiwa Tournament Tapered Shock Leaders
Since its establishment in 1958, Daiwa has expanded from its base in Hiroshima, Japan and now has offices all over the world. The original and continued goal of the company is to design and manufacture the finest quality fishing gear available on the market. When you buy any of Daiwa’s products, including this shock leader, you can be confident that its designers were dedicated to making it the best piece of tackle they could. For the past 60 years this commitment has not wavered in the slightest and it still aims to produce the most technically advanced fishing equipment in the world.
Leaders are often part of the most vital bits of your gear, and this shock leader would certainly become a staple in your equipment. As any seasoned angler will know, they are the sections of line that attach your rig section to the rest of your mainline and are extremely important for maintaining a good setup down on the bank. The outcome of your angling session heavily depends on the quality of your leader a lot of the time; investing in a superb leader such as this Daiwa Tournament Tapered Shock Leader could transform your sessions from disappointing, to successful.
This great tapered shock leader has been made from extra strong mono with high impact shock resistance. Thanks to this excellent material, you will be able to cast heavy loads without worrying about breaking off. With this shock leader, you can maximise your chances of reeling in the biggest fish in your swim, whether you prefer to target carp or prefer a spot of sea fishing. This extra strong mono ensures that the leader will not fall short; it is resistant to every day wear and tear and will see you through a number of successful angling sessions.
This leader is available in two different colours: high visibility orange and clear. You can choose to have a leader that you can spot from a mile off, which is always useful when long distance fishing so you can keep an eye on the end of your line. Or, with the clear leader your line will blend in more naturally with the water which is a great asset if you target fish that tend to be wary of brighter colours. Whichever colour you decide to choose, these Tournament Tapered Shock Leaders have something to offer for every angler out there.
As this product has been designed by a Japanese company, it has also been made to their exacting standards. Only the best of the best products make it onto the shelves after the rigorous testing they are put through, so when you use this tapered shock leader you can feel secure in its high quality and practicality.
The length of each leader is 43ft/13m and the diameter is 0.37mm – 0.80mm. There are five leaders per spool so if you are an angler that likes to use multiple rods on rod pods, you can have a Daiwa Tournament Tapered Shock Leader on all of them and have a great session down by the water’s edge.
The company’s slogan ‘Feel Alive’ perfectly encompasses its ethos and believes when it comes to angling. It aims to create and provide anglers with the finest quality terminal tackle which enables the angler to be at one with the water and nature when using the gear. With these shock leaders, you will be able to fish like never before with great success thanks to the dedication and passion that went on in order to the design these excellent leaders.
