This latest Emcast has been fitted with Daiwa’s innovate Bite ‘n’ Run system. Bite ‘n’ Run is a lever operated freespool system. This allows the carp to run with your hookbait once they bite, ensuring in more positive hooksets. However, the moment you pick up your handle the Bite ‘n’ Run lever disengages, instantly switching the reel into a smooth performing fight mode. This enables you to tackle all manner of fish on the UK’s largest waters with complete confidence. The Bite ‘n’ Run on the Emcast BR is fully supported with an additional front drag system, allowing for the incremental increase of drag which is vital when you’re tackling some of the biggest opponents that the UK has to offer.
