The corrosion resistance also means that the life of the ball bearing is prolonged; you’ll be able to use the same ball bearings without the need of replacements, which makes the entire reel great value for money, especially as its supplied with a spare spool.

For instance, with the excellent Advanced Ballistic System (ABS) spool the core diameter of the spool is maximised without allowing any ‘dead’ line to be buried at the core. This saves you from having to clear out the spool and gives the reel the smoothest performance possible because the line unwinds in big loops very evenly from the spool and thus prevents the twisting of the line.

If you’re an angler who aims for maximum versatility on the bank, then you will be glad to know that this reel is compatible with the universal Bite n Run converter. Simply replace the current drag know with the Bite n Run converter and tension the drag to the level you prefer, and now you have a Bite n Run machine.
