With winter now set to take Britain hostage for the next few months, Trakker might have just the answer you’re looking for in its new line of Elements clothing.
Firstly the jacket. When we tell you these retail at £99.99 you might think thats a little steep, but let me stop you right there. Available from a medium (105 to 111cm chest) to XXL (126cm to 132cm) this stylish garment boasts plenty of features, ensuring you stay comfortable and dry no matter how long you wish to spend on the bank. Boasting an incredible 10,000mm waterproof and 5,000mm breathable nylon outer, you not only stay dry but sweating is reduced to a minimum with the addition of zipped pit vents that help increase circulation and breathability.
A heavy-duty YKK main zip is situated on the front and is protected by Velcro storm flaps, ensuring there is no water ingress. The jacket also benefits from four frontal pockets to keep your bits and bobs dry. What we really liked the look and feel of are the two hand warmer pockets, ideal for warming your hands up when you need to tie rigs, so there’s no more fumbling about with cold fingers. An adjustable storm hood with stiffened peak and adjustable cuffs help to finish the jacket, as does the increased back length, which also minimises uncomfortable drafts.
Keeping on trend, Trakker has also launched the Elements bib and brace to complement the jacket. The same sizes are available and it is constructed from the same durable, weatherproof material. Complete with elasticised shoulder straps and waist for an improved fit, the bib and brace will comfortably hug you.
With reinforced knee and seat areas, these will protect you while crouching and also make sitting on cold days alot more enjoyable. Fitted with zipped ankle access and Velcro adjusters, it should be a problem slipping on your winter footwear.
