For those long-term Angling Direct customers, you may remember AD Rewards. This was a points loyalty card system that was discontinued in 2020. Instead of points, by joining MyAD you get access to exclusive products, offers, competitions and more.
When the previous AD rewards scheme ended, all the reward points were exchanged for a voucher. MyAD is separate from AD rewards, so your MyAD account won’t be linked to your old AD rewards account.
You can also join MyAD online through our website here, then you can print out your barcode to carry it to store, or let the colleague at the till know your email address to make sure you get your MyAD benefits when shopping.
You need to have an email address to be able to join MyAD so we can find your account on the system. If not a family member or friend may be able to help you set up an email address to be able to take advantage of the MyAD benefits.

Unfortunately, we aren’t providing printed versions of the card. However, you can print your barcode from the website to keep a physical copy of it, or tell them your email address at the till and they will be able to find you on the system.
The MyAD benefits are exclusive to members, so only people who have joined MyAD can get them.
My AD Terms and Conditions

These terms and conditions, which you accept upon joining MyAD Rewards, ensure the fair and consistent operation of the scheme. These terms and conditions are applicable across the entire MyAD Rewards scheme and any participation is considered as acceptance.
While Angling Direct reserves the right to terminate or amend the scheme, we remain committed to providing our customers with the utmost value and satisfaction.
One Account, One Member
To maintain fairness and avoid abuse, members are limited to one MyAD Rewards account each. Additional accounts may be refused, merged, or closed by Angling Direct at our discretion. This policy ensures that all members have equal access to the benefits and rewards offered by the scheme.
Eligibility and Personal Information
To be eligible for MyAD Rewards, you must be a UK resident aged 18 years or older. We require accurate personal details during registration, and it is essential to keep us informed of any changes. This helps us ensure that you receive the full benefits of the program without any interruptions.
Card Security and Responsibility
To ensure a seamless experience, members are required to register and maintain accurate personal details with Angling Direct. It is important to keep us informed of any changes to avoid any loss of discounts or vouchers due to outdated information.
Please note that accounts that remain unregistered for two years from the initial use and accounts with outdated details that have not been updated for two years will be removed from our system.
Additionally, being sure to protect your virtual card and account details is crucial, as you are responsible for their safekeeping. Don’t share your passwords. Angling Direct cannot be held responsible for any loss arising from the member failing to ensure the safekeeping of these items.
Abuse and Misconduct of My AD
While we are committed to creating a welcoming community, we reserve the right to take action against any member engaging in abusive or offensive behaviour, attempting to abuse the scheme, or providing false information. We want MyAD Rewards to be a positive experience for everyone involved.
Angling Direct may decline to issue, withdraw or cancel MyAD Rewards accounts and virtual cards, in whatever form, and / or remove a member from the scheme at any time where there is reasonable belief of:
any abuse or attempted abuse of the scheme
any breach or attempted breach of these terms and conditions and / or those relating to the optional elements of the scheme
any behaviour relating to MyAD Rewards or Angling Direct that involves theft, misconduct, abusive or offensive behaviour, or supplying false or misleading information.
Personal and Non-Transferable
MyAD is designed for personal and consumer use only. Your MyAD Rewards card, (which is in virtual form) is non-transferable and can only be used by the registered member. It cannot be used for any business transactions or purposes.
The scheme, including accounts and cards cannot be transferred, bought, sold, or traded in any manner. This ensures that the rewards remain exclusive to our loyal customers.
Opting Out of My AD
We understand that circumstances may change, and members have the freedom to leave the My AD at any time.
If you ever wish to discontinue your MyAD membership, you have the option to leave by sending an email to customer services or by completing the contact form available online.
Do note that once you leave My AD, you will forfeit any accumulated fishing tackle offers or fishing vouchers. We encourage you to continue enjoying the fantastic benefits MyAD Rewards offers, but should you choose to opt-out, we respect your decision.
