The Advanta brand was established in 2011 and produces products for anglers, designed by anglers. It originally contributed to carp fishing tackle, but in recent years the brand has expanded to a whole host of tackle items for fishing across the disciplines. It also includes this collection of bivvies and shelters, all designed to keep you protected against the brutal British weather.

The Advanta Endurance Duo-Skin is a vamped up version of the classic bivvy as it is built to last. For those that love a bit of solitude when fishing, this bivvy offers a roomy shelter designed for one. The high back and sides maximise internal space for all your extra gear. If you are sharing the shelter, just add the overwrap that comes with the package to enhance the interior spacious enough for two beds.

The bivvy can be tailored to your specified height thanks to the two height settings on the front panels and the two-way letterbox style door system means you can let in some light and breeze whilst maintaining a decent amount of privacy.

The Endurance bivvy certainly earns its name with a large peak that increasing protection again the climate which is further secured by the material being made from 10,000 hydrostatic head. Considering many shelters have 5000, this bivvy provides reassurance that it can fight against torrential rain. It also has a rain gutter so puddles do not form on the top of the shelter.

Alternatively, the bivvy can be adapted for the warmer seasons with the roll-back front panels with buckle retainers as well as the front and rear mosquito vents on both the bivvy and overwrap. This provides ventilation whilst keeping bug pests out. There are also three door panel options that come with the product of green, clear or mozzie so you can customise to the weather. The structure is strong with a three-pole frame, manufactured from rigid 16mm 6061 aluminium which is quick and easy to construct as well as being firm against the strong winds near the more open banks. The bivvy also features reinforced pegging points and in-line tension poles so that the bivvy is tightly secured whilst withstanding any tears from the tension.  Advanta has generously supplied the bivvy with heavy duty T-pegs for you to use in the tougher terrains.

The flooring is a super durable, high-grade clip-in groundsheet which is very easy and quick to attach and detach. This overwrap only required pegging at the front and has four Velcro rod retaining straps to secure it in place. It also has a clip for the overwrap as the rear and sides of the bivvy for when the wind picks up.

All in all, the Bivvy measures at 140cm tall, 270cm wide and 250cm deep (not including peak), and a weight of 11.3kg. The overwrap measures at 140cm tall, 270 wide and a larger depth of 284cm. This weight of the overwrap is a light 3.6kg, totalling both bivvy and overwrap to 14.9kg. To help carry all of the this, the product comes complete with an oversized, zip top carry case to make the storage and commute a little bit easier.
