The Advanta FD 8000 Spod and Marker reel has been designed to offer maximum casting distances to anglers who fish a wide range of venues from large lakes to powerful rivers. The reel is loaded with 200yds of 0.28mm High Quality 4 strand dark green braided line meaning the reel is ready to fish straight out of the box. The Advanta FD 8000 Spod and Marker reel is built using an ultra-lightweight body to reduce unnecessary weight, this is a big advantage when using the reel for extended periods of baiting and feature finding. The reduced weigh means casting long distance is made easier and more accurate by increasing the speed of the rod during the cast and reducing wobble associated with heavy reels. The Advanta FD 8000 Big Pit features a quick drag system meaning you can go from locked up to easily giving line with half a turn of the drag knob, this makes light work of marking your swim when this feature comes into its own. The reel also features super slow oscillation for improved line lay, a deep aluminium spool with line friendly line clip and a 6+1 Stainless steel ball bearing construction. The internal gears are made using the highest quality materials and are built around a strong worm shaft gear structure to ensure maximum winding power when retrieving spods and baiting tools from long distances.
