The Tribal TX-7 range has been designed to master large, more demanding waters. With strength and power at the forefront of their design, the range features some of Shimano Tribals longest casting models, yet remains deceptively slim, lightweight and responsive.
If you fish large waters, where long range casting is required to get you on the fish, the new TX-7 will most definitely appeal. The TX-7 previously broke the tournament World record for a 4oz lead with a cast of 247yards!
The next generation is developed with the same spirit, but with more advanced technology, to break records again. With the intensity models you will feel the power hidden in the almost impossibly slim blank, whilst the more conventional test curves between 2.75lb and 3.25lb offer a superb compromise between casting power, accuracy and fish-playing functionality.
By adding NANOSHEET technology and M40X carbon fibre, the blank becomes more responsive and has a faster recovery after casting. This will support you in making the longest casts you have ever made. The new TX-7 range is both strong and powerful, yet very forgiving when playing fish under the rod tip. To maximise performance even further, Kigan Stainless steel zirconia guides have been mounted onto the blanks, ensuring relentless power without an increase in weight. A Fuji DPS reel seat and EVA grip handle complete the TX-7 range, which you can be confident in taking to the biggest of venues.

The new Shimano Tribal TX-7A Carp Rod Range fits perfect into the highly regarded Shimano Tribal Specimen Rod Range and is packed with the latest carbon technology for carp rods, giving this carp fishing rod a stunning balance of finesse and performance combined with a finish that also makes this one of the best looking carp rods on the market. Designed to master large, more demanding carp fishing venues, these new carp rods will help you get on the fish no matter the distance, with the TX-7 previously breaking the tournament casting world record for a 4oz lead with a cast of 248 yards.
These carp rods are built around a lightweight, slim Nanosheet carbon rod black, which offers powerful casting performance which will open up a new dimension to your carp fishing, whilst the finesse nature of the tip action on these Shimano Carp Rods inspires full confidence in the fish playing action. This Nanosheet carbon rod blank is reinforced with a M40X carbon fibre for additional strength when casting heavy leads and PVA bags or when playing large carp.
These Shimano Carp Rods feature ultra lightweight Kigan stainless steel zirconia guides throughout the fishing rod which not only reduces the friction on your fishing line when casting but also enhances the action and tip recovery speed when casting, ensuring you maximise your distance on each cast. Shimano have included these guides to ensure relentless power without an increase in weight of the rod. A Fuji DPS reel seat is included on these carp rods which allows you to use even the largest big pit fishing reels with ease, and an EVA grip handle completes the carp rod which offers both enhanced grip when casting and playing fish. Return of goods & Refunds
Any incorrect or damaged goods must be reported within 5 days of receipt. These will be replaced as soon as possible at no expense to yourself. All unwanted items must be either returned at your own expense or taken into your local Angling Direct store.
