The Shakespeare SKP B1 Specialist Float Rod has been aimed for the angler that looks for a fishing rod that will cover all aspects of specimen fishing for larger species. Stalking Carp, fishing the lift method for Tench and Bream or running a float on rivers for barbel & chub, this rod will cater to your specialist fishing needs.
This Shakespeare rod is made from an high modulus 30T carbon fibre rod blank with carbon weave detailing which gives the fishing rod an incredible progressive fish playing action, with plenty of power in the butt section to land large fish, but enough softness in the tip to prevent hook pulls and absorb runs from specimen sized fish. The oversized guide system on this Shakespeare rod allows you to use heavier lines on this float rod without compromising your casting as the thicker fishing line can easily flow thorough the larger rod rings.
As a sign of top quality, this Shakespeare rod is finished off with a full length cork handle that ensure comfort when casting and playing fish. The handle on this float rod has been made longer in comparison to other fishing rods, as it aids casting at longer distances and with rod control when playing fish. This Shakespeare SKP B1 Specialist Float Rod is 15ft in length with a 3 piece design that makes transport easy in either fishing rod sleeves or ready rod bags
