Preston Response Whip

Each whip in the Preston Response Whip range has been designed to cover a variety of match fishing situations and are a valuable addition to your match fishing tackle, especially on natural waters.

Constructed from extremely high grade carbon, makes these whips not only lightweight, but also incredibly responsive. An essential when fishing with a whip striking at small bites from small fish such as roach and bleak. Preston have designed these fishing whips with a slim profile to make them nice and easy to grip, a great advantage when looking to catch upward of 300 fish in a session. The slim profile of these Preston whips, also makes them easier to use in the wind, as the slim profile has less surface area it will cut through, making them easier to hold. This is a massive advantage compared to using the comparable length of your fishing pole.

Preston have designed the top section of these fishing whips to be soft and forgiving. This will cushion any small fish, and  prevent hook pulls, but also allow you to use lighter hooklengths and smaller hooks. The butt sections are stiffer, giving more power if a bigger bonus fish is hooked, or for them days when you need to swing larger stamp roach and rudd to hand.

There are 3 different sizes in the range; 3m, 4m, and 5m. The 3m model is perfect for fishing shallow for bleak and rudd or for perch close in at the end of your keepnet. The 4m and 5m whip can be used for both shallow speed fishing on them days when the bleak are sat further out, but there is also plenty of strength in these whips to be used with heavy 2-3g floats bagging roach on rivers and lakes.
