The Clearwater Rod Series from Orvis offers a complete overhaul from the ground up by our Vermont rod designers. The Orvis Clearwater 5-Weight fly fishing rod measures at 9ft in length and is standard for western rivers and bigger eastern water.
This 9ft rod not only has the length to cast out and control drifts but the rod also has the power to reach far banks, but the line weight to handle big trout and light bass. This powerful rod is able to throw big attractors with droppers, or big hoppers and control the drift.
Perfect for fishing for big fish on big waters, the Clearwater 5-weight has been designed with a purpose-built profile and action to handle the kind of fishing and its blanks are black chrome with white accents. If you have more than one rod from this collection, the blanks come with quick rod identifiers.
Boasting full black nickel aluminum reel seats, the rod will house fly fishing reels with ease whilst the rods with fighting butts have composite tips for durability. If that was not enough, the fly rod comes with grey rod tube.

Return of goods & Refunds
Any incorrect or damaged goods must be reported within 5 days of receipt. These will be replaced as soon as possible at no expense to yourself. All unwanted items must be either returned at your own expense or taken into your local Angling Direct store.

Disputes and complaints should be emailed directly to our support address. Your dispute or complaint will then be acknowledged within 2 working days and solved as soon as possible.
