When most people think of fishing tackle, they think Daiwa, and the Connoisseur G50 13m Pole is a prime example of why that is.
Designed for performance, the Daiwa pole benefits from XLS technology, Daiwa’s trademark performance enhancer, and is supplied with reversible PHEX pole extensions and a branded, XLS pole holdall.
At 16m, this pole is a great length for those getting started in match fishing, with both the reach and manoeuvrability you need, all in a sleek, stylish piece of top-flight fishing tackle, that’s designed and built to handle smoothly, stand up to the demands of the match fishing discipline, and effortlessly bank fish of all sizes, from small silver fish and F1s, to larger commercial carp.
What Discipline Is It For?
Originally designed for match fishing, pole fishing is rapidly gaining ground among general carp anglers, often as a way to mix up technique during an extended session, rather than as a stand-alone tactic, as it is in match fishing.
Why Should I Buy It?
If you’re just getting started in match fishing, and looking for a pole that gives you everything you need to start your competitive angling career the way you mean to continue, and let everyone else at your venue know you mean business, with the back up of a brand that’s known for reliable, high-tech performance, then the Connoisseur G50 is a good option to consider.
Bringing you Daiwa’s trademark innovative performance in a sleek, stylish pole that will look the business at any venue, this a pole you buy for the cosmetics, and keep for the performance.
Supplying this pole as a package, complete with fitted and spare match kits, PHEX pole extensions, and a fully branded holdall, was a wise choice from Daiwa, allowing the angler new to match fishing to make an intelligent, ready-to-fish purchase for an all-in-one price, rather than having to hunt around for each addition to their fishing pole. Just pick up some quality Daiwa pole elastic, and you’re ready to head off to your first match! If you’re unsure what elastic you need for your Connoisseur pole, just pop in to your local Angling Direct store, or give our team a call – we’ve got several match anglers on staff who are well-placed to give you advice that’s rooted in personal experience.
When you buy Daiwa, you’re buying established, proven performance, something that matters in match fishing, where anything that saves you seconds, and gives you an all-round smoother performance, is valued as a potential game-changer. Match fishing is a close-fought discipline, and any advantage is to be welcomed.
A 16m pole gives you the reach and reaction you need on any commercial venue, as well as allowing you to take your match fishing out to larger rivers, and handle the unique challenges of running water, while the Daiwa brand allows you to feel confident in your pole’s performance, and handle your fishing in a relaxed, fully effective style.
