Description

The Cox & Rawle Bass / Codling Rig has been all ready assembled for the sea angler by hand in Wincanton, England by the Cox & Rawle team. The rig is perfect for targeting large fish such as Cod, Bass, Flat Fish, Rays, Dogfish and many more, with big baits over rough ground.

The pennel set-up of the rig increases hook-up potential and is a firm favourite for many sea anglers. This rig allows large baits, such as squid and crab, to be well presented, attraching lots more fish, quickly.

The rig also boasts a pulley design which means that once a fish is hooked the lead is lifted clear of the seabed reducing the likelihood of snags.

The rig is made up of a rig clip, 75cm of 80lb mono, a size 4 and size 6 swivel, then 60cm of 40lb mono and its size 3/0 Black Nickel Finish Cox and Rawle Hooks.
