Review
Lets face it, most of us aren’t massive fans of the wind and rain, so we like to get out the way of it when we can. The best way of staying dry, warm and comfortable is by sitting under a brolly but sometimes this can prove to be a nightmare in the worst of weathers.
Well, Wychwood has us anglers in its best interests and it has come up with this great brolly system that uses the latest in materials to keep us comfortable on the bank. I was really impressed with the strength of the HD MHR: I’m fairly sure the material wouldn’t rip when dragged through bushes, getting to and from your swim and the strong storm poles and spokes mean you won’t see it turning inside out as it fights against the wind.
Other great features include an inside mesh pocket where you can store your phone and wallet and I was particularly impressed with the storm pole retention sleeves, which keep mud and dirt away from your brolly when you pack it down.
Another small but nice touch it the size of the bag that brolly comes in. I don’t know about you, but one of my biggest moans when it comes to packing away is trying to get my brolly/bivvy back into its bag. They are usually very tight fitting but Wychwood has left plenty of room for you to store the HD MHR easily.
