The Nash Scope range now has a full-size 60in brolly that packs down to a standard, small bivvy size - The Scope Ops!
The Nash Scope range is expanding rapidly, providing great-quality luggage and tackle for the light, travelling angler.
With the huge success of the rods in the initial stages, Nash is now adding to it to create what will become full set-up, meaning theres no need to push heavy, laden barrows through tight, enclosed footpaths or endure long hikes from the car that require a nap afterwards.
The Scope Ops brolly is very cleverly designed. With a hinge section set back from the end of the longer ribs in the design, they fold back to shorten the rib length, meaning the brolly packs down to a manageable 44 inches. This condenses the shelter into a smaller carry bag, allowing it to fit into smaller vehicles and be carried with ease.
Weighing in at just 3.6kg it is incredibly light for a brolly too, and that weight includes the two short storm poles that come included in the price.
There is a half-depth, heavy duty groundsheet that clips and Velcros into the base of the design, and the central, space-saving boss system is remarkably short, meaning there's a phenomenal amount of room inside.
The carry bag is well made, there's a full set of heavy-duty pegs, and the four ribs are in contact with the ground when set up to make it very strong and stable - the perfect solution for the Scope session angler.
The Verdict
A sizeable addition to the compact Scope range.
