For years Fortis have been hell-bent on improving your close-up vision with their range of sunglasses. Now, they can give you the power of magnified vision thanks to their new binoculars

THE DEFAULT POLARISED sunglasses for many of the “names” is a pair from the Fortis collection. It’s been that way since the brand showed up on the faces of Gaz Fareham, Oz Holness, Jim Shelley and co in 2013. Having conquered the short-distance optical market, Fortis are now focusing on distance with what they describe as “the ultimate angling binoculars”.

The XSR Binoculars come with a 8x42 magnification, making them the ultimate tool for performing in all angling situations. Thanks to that eight times magnification (the first number) there’s virtually zero shake, meaning they’re also ideal for boat and tree work, and because of that large light-gathering lens (the 42 part), they allow you to see more during peak feeding times - i.e. in the low-light mornings and evenings.

Each pair is tank-tested and submerged to ensure they are fully waterproof. Add to this the XSRs are Nitrogen-filled to prevent fogging and you have some serious spec.
