Having huge success with big pits such as the superb Basia and Tournament reels, we feel that Daiwa has the big-pit market sussed.

An area of fishing reels that is popular at the moment is the mini-big-pit market. With strong competition from many reel manufacturers, it sure is competitive. We think Daiwa has cracked it, though, with the Cast’izm BR 25A.

It features a neat free-spool system and the signature MAG-sealed technology, which prevents water ingress into the reels inner workings via the rotor.
