The Deeper Chirp+ uses integrated GPS to turn your Deeper into a bathymetric mapping device. This enables you to create real-time maps of the waterway that you’re fishing, from both boat and shore. This allows you to pin-point exact features in a way that was only previously possible using boat-mounted consoles. With an 80m/260 ft range and a scanning to a depth of 80m/260 ft, the Chirp+ is ideal for the most demanding of venues, fishing on vast reservoirs can feel like guess work but with the Deeper Chirp+ you’re able to locate fish and even identify its species.

The smart phone app which accompanies the Deeper not only conveys the readings of the sonar system but also features; a fishing calendar, camera function, weather Forecast, fishing notes, offline maps, and unlimited history, allowing you to keep a record of the venues that you have fished. A Deeper Smart Phone Mount is available separately and enables you do strap your smart phone to your rod, making operating the app a hands free experience, so you can concentrate on casting and retrieve.

Where the Deeper Chirp differs from previous models and other sonar products on the market is the sonar system itself. Traditional sonar sends out a single pulse at a time, whereas, CHIRP, or Compressed High Intensity Radiated Pulse, emits a continuous flow of frequencies ranging from low to high.
