Due to the aerodynamic shape of the Air Rotor design, the concentration of stress on the base of the rotor is less than a conventional rotor and is yet another function which amplifies the smoothness of Daiwa reels.

To exaggerate a smooth action even further the spool features Twistbuster technology, the spool is slightly cone shaped to minimise tangles and ensures you can cast and recast for the duration of your session with minimum fuss. Working alongside Daiwa’s Twistbuster technology is an Anti-Backlash System (ABS) which works in conjunction with the cone shaped spool to allow your line to depart the spool evenly and aids longer casts.

Daiwa refer to its Infinite Anti-Reverse system as the most reliable part of its reels, the system combats rearward back play, minimising bothersome handle slap-back on hooksets, increasing your chances from bite to bank.
