Match specialists Drennan already produce luggage and much more for the match discipline, however, the brands latest luggage range, Drennan Specialist Luggage suggests a venture towards carp and roving angling. The range includes; two compact rucksacks, a roving bag, reel pouch, net bag and a bait bucket.

The entire range is presented in a carpy military green with subtle Drennan Specialist branding, quite the contrast to Drennan’s usual standout turquoise on black colour scheme. The whole range is constructed from 600 denier rip-stop fabric, meaning it will withstand the rigours of carp fishing for years, in fact the whole range has a high-quality finish and has the feel of a top-end luggage range.

The Specialist range includes two rucksacks, a 30L and 40L variant, despite their respectable volumes, both rucksacks are relatively compact and won’t take up excessive room on the bank, in the car, or at home. The base of the Drennan Specialist Compact Rucksack is waterproof and will keep the contents of your bag dry even when left out on the bank all night.

Both rucksacks are equipped with back padding and shoulder straps, adding rigidity to the structure of the rucksack but also increasing comfort substantially, which you will be grateful for on those longer trips between the car and your chosen swim.

Both the 30L and 40L rucksacks have three external zipped pockets, one on the front and one on each side, these smaller pockets are ideal for small tackle boxes or your essential terminal tackle that you need close at hand.

The third bag in the range is the 20L Drennan Specialist Compact Roving Bag, the bag is worn around the waist, like a bum bag, and is ideal for the roving angler or a spot of stalking. The bag is comprised of three main pockets and two external mesh pouches located on either side. The top compartment is foil lined and is perfect for keeping bait close to hand, or even your lunch. Both the main pocket and front pocket will comfortably house small tackle boxes, terminal tackle, a spare reel or a catapult. In general, the Roving bag would be ideal for housing your bait and being mounted on your waist is ideal for using whilst firing out boilies with your catapult.

The Specialist range includes, as the name suggests, more specialist luggage, the first of which is the Drennan Specialist Reel Pouch. The pouch is designed to house and protect reels on made up rods, shielding your reel whilst in transit, the pouch is fully padded and secured in place with dual Velcro strips.

Next up, the Drennan Specialist Net Bag, which is just that, a bag for your net complete with twin carry handles, a removable shoulder strap and a fully taped waterproof inner lining. The capacity of the bag will allow you to house two keepnets and is the only piece of luggage in the range which would naturally be attributed to the match discipline.

Finally, the Drennan Specialist Bait Bucket is available in two sizes, small: 7 litre and large: 15 litre. Like all luggage in the range the bait bucket sports twin carry handles, a reinforced waterproof base and removable waterproof inner lining.
