Tribal is a name familiar amongst many anglers, associated with Shimano; it was a range of camouflage luggage, clothing and accessories, introduced nearly ten years ago. In those ten years the range has changed and evolved dramatically, and now for 2013/14 the Tribal luggage and clothing range takes on another new style.
The days of the bright real tree camo patterns have been and gone; now it’s all about camo which is slightly classier, slightly more understated and this is exactly what has been achieved with the new Tribal XTR range.
The new XTR range comprises of around fifteen products, which includes 3-4 main items… rod holdalls, carryalls (in different sizes) and a bucket seat/bag. The other dozen products are made up of smaller items, accessory bags which are compatible with the 3-4 main items. This is what’s known as Organised Compact Design, or cleverly, for short OCD.
For today’s tackle Tuesday I’d like to spend a few minutes looking at each of the main items in this range, but first I’d like to start with a few words about the range itself…
The new Shimano Tribal XTR Luggage range has some of the most radical and groundbreaking designs ever seen in the angling industry.
Great care and attention has been paid to anglers needs with innovative products created with specific aims that reflect the aspirations of carp and specialist fishermen alike.
Special attention was given to ruggedness with the help of Power Stitch, which involves doubled stitched seams, offers anglers the Shimano standard of quality, strength and durability.
