In recent years Guru have become one of the ‘go to’ companies for all commercial fishery end tackle, whether its hooks, feeders, mono or swivels you are looking for, they have the lot.

Twinned with the Korda stable, they have been at the forefront of innovation and design. Using the expertise of Steven Ringer and Adam Rooney they have released some fantastic items over the years and this trend looks set to continue as we head into 2014, with the introduction of the excellent new Rig Case, the rig case they believe could make all others redundant!



They wrote…

Brand manager Adam Rooney and head consultant Steve Ringer both used existing rig cases, but felt that they weren’t quite up to the job, so the Guru design team set about designing one from scratch!

The result is a smart-looking case that puts the opposition in the shade in terms of functionality and looks! Firstly, the team attacked the problem of boosting the capacity of the case, without creating something that was too big and cumbersome. They simply increased the length of the retention pegs, and made the case double-sided, which allows the Guru Rig Case to hold up to 150 rigs!

It’s been designed for the rigs that Adam and Steve used most, including method feeder, pellet feeder and pole rigs. The case features a unique magnetic fastening system, which ensures that your carefully tied rigs are protected when in transit. In fact, the case has been designed to be water resistant too, so it’ll keep the British weather at bay too, while you’re on the bank.



The Rig Case is finished in Guru colours; black on the outside and orange on the inside and the whole thing is coated with a soft-touch overmould for a beautifully tactile result.
