Red is the new black for 2014, with a number of bait manufacturers launching ranges of red coloured baits aimed squarely at the Carp angler and Dynamite Baits is one of these, and the start of the year saw the company introduce its Red-Amo range of boilies – a recipe that has accounted for many big Carp in the past 12 months.
Based on the hugely successful Monster Tiger Nut recipe, Dynamite added a new fruit palatant and made one or two more tweaks to produce the wonderfully sweet, nutty and creamy bait. The actual ingredients include Red-Amo fruit palatant, tiger nut flour, tiger nut milk, sweet vanilla palatant and all-season attractants.
After initial testing, Dynamite knew it was on to a winner, with lots of its consultants reporting impressive results. A tweak in colour, which is now a washed-out pink, resulted in the finished article, which eventually made its way into the range of baits produced by the Nottingham-based giant.
The success continued apace, with some huge hits on day ticket waters, as well as some notable captures of individual big Carp, such as The Chertsey Mirror at over 55lb. The Red-Amo was fast being accepted as an instant and long-term bait, the Holy Grail for any boilie.
We’ve loved its colour, aroma and even taste (yes, some of us have actually eaten some) and a few of us have been playing around with it for some time. We all said we’d happily use this one, which even when you consider we see everything out there is quite an endorsement.
There are matching washed-out pop-ups (including liquid booster) available and the boilies come in freezer and shelf-life versions in 1kg and 5kg bags.
The Range
The kilo bags are in resalable zip lock packaging meaning you can keep your bait fresher for longer. Shelf life available in 10mm, 15mm and 20mm. Freezer baits in 15mm and 18mm.
For baiting campaigns the boilies are also available in 5 kilo bulk bags at a discounted price. Shelf life in 15mm and 20mm, freezer baits available in 15mm and 18mm.
Super buoyant 15mm Pop Ups are also available, including a free liquid booster bottle.
If you are looking for a liquid booster we would recommend using the Tigernut liquid and Concentrated Dip with the Red-Amo.
