Sutton Grand Opening

Hundreds of you paid us a visit during the Grand Opening of our most recent Angling Direct store - Sutton-In-Ashfield. As the doors swung open, the assembled crowd descended onto our shiny new store and who could blame them with 200 free goody bags on offer to the first 200 customers to spend £10 instore – the mayor of Sutton even joined us!

This was the first opportunity for the people of Sutton to check out the latest Angling Direct store, the shop is packed with features; our 16m Pole Alley gives anglers the chance to get to grips with a range of poles and measure up which one they are willing to part with their hard earned cash for, poles can be an expensive business, its important that you get one you’re going to feel comfortable with.

Also instore you can find our latest bivvy and shelter display showcasing the best in bankside abodes, our bite alarm and indicator display highlighting the cutting-edge of bite indication and our bait range display with everything from top-end boilies, pellets, groundbait, froxen baits and live baits, all available in store.

Adam Reed and Jon 'Shoes' Jones from Trakker joined us instore alongside Terry Dempsey from Urban Baits and RidgeMoney’s Gareth Evans and Chris Appleby. All three anglers provided a treasure-trove of knowledge on all thing carp, giving out tips and tricks to lucky customers and providing them with selfies to show off down their local syndicate.
