Spring Plaice... Shane Pullen

Fresh from there Thornback Ray exploits on the South East coast, the expert sea angling team of Shane Pullen, Paul Gunner, Darren Mills and Jason White have changed tactics and turned there attentions to Plaice.

These plentiful, red spotted flatfish, become a prime target at this time of year and when conditions are right, some bumper catches can be had.

Fishing from Dengemarsh, Kent and Eastbourne, Sussex the awesome foursome have been enjoying some good fishing, landing some nice specimens to around 2lb.

Simple two hooked clipped down rigs, with small size 4 hooks, baited with Fresh Black Lugworm has accounted for the majority of the fish.
