Pole Fishing For Carp - Targeting Those Match Winning Fish
This entry was posted on
For this latest episode we head to our local Cobbleacre lakes for a few hours fishing after work. At this time of year these 'after work' evening sessions can be very rewarding and using the right methods, you can put some nice fish in your net, in a relatively short space of time.
When time is limited it's essential you pick a method that is fast acting, if you only have two hours to fish, or if you are in the last hour of a match, you need to catch quickly. It's no good fishing a method, or slowly trying to build up a swim as you'll simply run out of time.
In this latest video we show you one of these methods and one which is particularly effective at targeting those bigger, match winning fish; fishing in shallow water, with big, pungent, attractive baits.
Now there's a whole host of baits available that are effective for this style of high impact fishing, but without doubt one of the best has to be Meat. Good old fashioned Luncheon Meat and/or even Cat Meat is perfect for it.
So armed with a couple of tins and with a few hours of daylight left we headed down to the venue with hopes of putting a few nice carp on camera and into the net. To find out exactly how we got on and perhaps find out a few tips along the way, watch this latest instalment, from the waters edge.
