This reel is the third in the PENN Surfblaster reel series, boasting a fantastic long castability for those distance anglers out there. Surfcasting requires a durable and strong as possible reel for saltwater so Penn made sure to design the Surfblaster with the grinds of fishing in mind. 

The forged and machined aluminium conical-shaped shallow spool combined with the extra slow oscillation system aids anglers with casting further than ever before whilst still managing a perfect line lay.  The 6 sealed stainless steel ball-bearing system, including an instant anti-reverse bearing, results in a perfectly smooth retrieve, even under the pressure of battling a stubborn fish.

The Surfblaster III comes with a spare deep spool, making sure you will always have the correct line with you for every fishing condition.
