I recently received a lovely email and some very nice pictures from Angling Direct Norwich shop regular Mark James Riley, who’s been getting amongst some cracking Carp at his local Stillwater.
Mark wrote…
‘With the weather being so mild I thought I’d make the most of some free time I had over the Christmas period and spend a some time down the lake.
Over a few sessions I managed nine Carp, seven of which were over 20lb, five being mid twenties and two over thirty pound, topped by a 32lb 3oz fully scaled beast!
The biggest came at the end of a magical 24 hours where I managed to land over 110lb of Carp!
To say I was over the moon would be an understatement! I’d like to say a big thanks to the lads at local bait company Pursuit Baits for all there help throughout the year.
It’s time to get the chub floats out now too!’
