Even though we are only a few days into the new year our mail order maestro Scott Kingsley has already been amongst the fish and has started his 2015 Carp fishing campaign in some style.
Fishing his current syndicate water in less than ideal conditions, a heavy frost and temperatures well below zero, Scott managed to bank a few topped by a 20lb+ winter cracker.
The fish, pictured below in all it's winter glory, was landed 40 yards out in around 14ft of water and fell to a CC Moore Equinox boilie hook bait, fished over the top of around 30 or so freebies. The end tackle consisted of his favourite and ever faithful Gardner components.
Top angling Scotty and a right result in some pretty harsh weather!
