Angling Direct Wigan - Grand Opening Saturday 7th July 2018

The time has come to officially give Angling Direct Wigan the Grand Opening it deserves. After nearly a year of hard work, huge investment in terms of the building, and creating what we believe is a true angling place of worship inside and out (for those who don’t know the shop is within an old church), we thought we would mark the store’s completion with a good old fashion Grand Opening in true Angling Direct style.

As with all our Grand Openings there will be 200 FREE goody bags up for grabs for the first 200 customers on the day. The shop opens at 8am on Saturday, so make sure you are up nice and early to get your hands on one. A massive thanks to RidgeMonkey, Mainline, Shimano, Daiwa, Dynamite Baits, Avid, Preston Innovations and Advanta for contributing to the awesome free goody bags; we know you’ll be impressed.

We haven’t stopped there. Owing to it being such a special weekend for the store, we are offering 10% off in store all weekend and 20% off Advanta items. So it’s well worth coming down and grabbing a bargain or three.

Last but by no means least we have an awesome line up of superstars from the angling world. From Aqua Products we have Andy and Jack Bradshaw in store all day, demonstrating the awesome range of Aqua bivvies, as well as other Aqua items.

From Maver we have Dale Shepard and Andy Oldham, who will be in store talking through everything coarse/match fishing related in the Maver range. Feel free to pick their brains on anything you need help on in terms of match fishing.

From Mainline, we have John Kneebone who will be rolling out the new Mainline Link boilies, as well as the whole Mainline Baits range. He is also planning a few cheeky competitions exclusively in store.

From Shimano, we have the legendary Nick Speed, a top class match angler who has an intimate knowledge of local venues, as well as everything else you could want to know with regards to tackle, tactics, and bait.

Those very innovative chaps from RidgeMonkey will be represented by Chris Appleby Alex MacDonald, and Alan Tring. They will be talking through everything carp related, from terminal tackle to bait, as well as the awesome RidgeMonkey range of cookware and powerpacks.

We also have legendary match angler Dave Swain from Dynamite Baits in store answering all bait related match and coarse question you may have.

As always, our social media manager Hassan Khan will be in store all day, covering the event with live videos.
