Tight Lines



Toby Guest sent us in this quality picture of a lovely Linear Carp. Unfortunately we haven’t got any more details, but in this case I think the picture does the talking!!! Super fish, super picture!



We were sent this picture by Dean Curtis and it’s a picture of Deans friend with his PB 19lb Common! Thanks for sending it in Dean, nice fish and picture!



Here’s Nicholas Watson, with a stunning 45lb 8oz Common! The fish was caught from the Abbeylakes complex in France and was landed on a 9ft zig fished at around 110 yards. Top angling Nicholas!

Here’s a fun picture we were sent by Marius Eugen Rosu, there was no text to accompany the picture, but it looks like they are happy with this quality Grass Carp! Well done lads and thanks for sending the picture in!



Here’s Ste Bedford with a corking Carp landed from a venue in France called Mas Bas. Ste wrote…’This was my first carp that I caught in France at a venue called Mas Bas, the carp was 27lbs and it was the beginning of my love for the venue.’ Quality fish Ste and an equally quality picture!



James Vincent sent us this picture of a cracking Common Carp he landed at the French resort, Mas Bas. James wrote… ‘Was taken in France at a place called Mas Bas, I cant recall the weight but it was a beautiful fish.’ We agree with that James! It even posed for the picture by sticking it’s fin up!





Big Bass Alert! Here’s Andrew Heslop with a corking Bass, this fished weighed in at 8lb 2oz and was landed from Dungeness. Andrew wrote…

‘I caught this 8lbs 2on bass at Dungeness on a 2 hook flapper on black lug supplied by Angling Direct. I saw the line go slack and I struck in to the fish it powered up from the bottom and jumped out of the water with a splash! I was well chuffed!’ Thanks for sending it in Andrew, we’d have been well chuffed with a fish like that too!!!



I haven’t got a name or any information on this fish, but it was sent in via email. However I’m not sure we need too much information on what is a picture of a lovely Carp!



Here’s a lovely picture from Sportquest Holidays travel consultant and guide Paul Stevens. Paul took his girlfriends children fishing for the first time, and they enjoyed a fantastic day on the bank. Here’s 6 year old Gracie with her very first Carp, which will hopefully be the first of many. The fish was landed on a little telescopic whip! Great picture, another proper little angler in the making!
