Tight Lines
Super Sunset! We start off this weeks pictures with an stunning sunset shot, which was sent in by Sam Russel via our Facebook page. The picture was at his local lake Cottington, in lake Alder. Thanks for submitting it Sam!
Stunning Sunrise! We were sent these two awesome sunrise shots on our Facebook page by Carp French, Carl who was fishing his local lake in Derby, took the pictures at 4.55am, he then went onto land a Common of 21lb! Top angling Carl and top photography!
Cell Caught Stunner! Here's Charlie Fix with a cracking looking Mirror Carp which tipped the scales to within a few ounces of 20lb. Carlie caught the fish fishing close to an island on a Mainline Cell boilie hookbait. Well in mate!
NEW PB! This chunky Carp was landed by Neil Powell and landed in my inbox this mornin, it was simply entitlied new New PB 18lb 4oz! Well done on the new PB Neil! Now for that 20lber!!!
Lovely Linear! Here's our very own Michael Stewart with an awesome looking Linear Carp. The fish was landed from his Cambs syndicate water and fell to his Dynamite Baits Crave boilies, the fish weighed in at just over 22lb. Top angling Michael, it's got to be one of the best looking Carp we've seen in a while!
Creature Of The Night! Here's a sight that's not for the faint hearted! As well as landing the stunning Linear Carp, Michael also landed this monster moggy. The fish weighed in at just over 40lb and was part of a brace, the other of which weighed just over 30lb!
Eye's Too Big For Its Belly! Here's a picture I took whilst out on the bank this week. Some how this small Rudd managed to snaffle the Lobworm hookbait which as you can see is rather a large meal for a small fish!
Top Tinca! Here's a picture I recieved a few weeks ago, which I must have missed, so apologies about that! Dave Swan, brother to our very own Steve Swan, landed this monster Tench from his local syndicate water, the fish weighed in a few ounces over 10lb and was a new PB for specimen ace Dave. Top specimen mate, well done!
Lovely Chubbly! Here's our very own Steve Crowe with cracking river Wensum Chub, the fish was part of a 3 fish haul which included specimens of 3lb, 4lb and 5lb. As I mentioned in my weekly blog, I captured the whole session on video, which can be seen here... Chub Fishing On The River Wensum. 
Floundering Around! Here's a great close up of a Flounder. The fish was landed on a crab and lugworm cocktail and was taken from a North Norfolk beach.
World Champions! Here's the England Ladies celebrating there recent world championship win, a remarkable performance on the last day saw them clinch the gold medal. Our very own Jeanette Haliday, who is manager of our Beccles branch, can be seen on the top row, working from right to left, Jeanette is the second lady in.
