Tight Lines
Here’s a couple of awesome pictures from Phil white, the first is one awesome sunset picture and the second is of a stunning 22lb fully scaled Mirror! Phil wrote… ‘The carp was a 22lb fully scaled Mirror, caught stalking on my local beds pit! I dropped a bait in on feeding carp a few feet from the bank then the bite came within a minute of dropping the bait in!’… The result was this awesome looking carp! Great stuff Phil, thanks for sending the superb pictures into us.
Peter Howells sent us to fantastic pictures, the first is Peter’s son with a superb 13lb Mirror Carp from Taswood Lakes and the second is Peter with an absolutely monstrous Common Carp of 47lb from Dream lakes in France. A couple of great pictures Peter, nice to see a father and son team enjoying there Carp fishing and catching plenty of fish!
Here’s Andrew Heslop with a corking beach caught Cod. Andy wrote… ‘I landed this 8.5lb Cod from Dungeness in Kent; it fell to a Pulley Pennell rig baited with Lugworm purchased from your tackle shops in Kent! First a Whiting fell to the lugworm and then the Cod came in and nailed the Whiting!!! It was a brilliant night to be on the beach!’… Well done Andrew, that’s a fantastic fish from the beach!
We were sent this picture of a nice Catfish by Glenys Troubridge, who wrote… ‘My husband took me down to Charlie’s fisheries in Ashford Kent for the first time where I landed my first ever Catfish! It weighed in at 10lb!’… Great stuff Glenys, cracking fish!
The second, again by Jake Boggis is a view over his rods, it looks like the spiders have been busy overnight!
