This coming weekend, the second city welcomes the opening day of our Angling Direct store. Angling Direct Birmingham opens its doors on Saturday 4th May with a carp themed Grand Opening spectacular. To celebrate the new store, we are offering 10% of everything in store for the entire weekend and 20% off Advanta and Grandslam products. So, whether you’ve had your eye on a new bivvy, rod pod or you need to restock on terminal tackle this is the weekend to do it.
To celebrate the opening of another brand-new Angling Direct store further we are giving away free goody bags to the first 200 customers (minimum spend £10) in store, with items supplied from RidgeMonkey, Mainline Baits, Nash Tackle and Dynamite Baits - so be sure to arrive nice and early, doors open at 8am, until 5pm.
Not only is this a great opportunity to stock up on new gear but also a fantastic opportunity to pick up some new tips and tricks with guest appearances from angling superstars, in our biggest and best line up yet.
In line with our carp theme, European big fish megastar Claudia Darga and Ben Cooper of Dynamite Baits will be joining us in store.
If you’re looking to improve your comfort on the bank, Jerry “The Bull” Bridger, Gaz Hood and Alex Bransby will be representing Trakker Products, talking us through the Trakker range from bivvys to cookware. The innovative brand RidgeMonkey will also be talking you through how to enhance your bankside experience, represented by Gareth Evans, Simon Bishop and Chris Appleby.
Carping legend Julian Cundiff and Luke Archer of Nash Tackle will be on hand to help you with any rig queries.
Need to gain an edge with your bait selection? Look no further. Adam Penning, Scott Lloyd and Jake Wildbore of Sticky Baits will be joined by John Kneebone from Mainline Baits to talk you through all things bait, from additives to liquids, we’ve got it covered.
Our very own Hassan Khan will be in store covering the event via live video, so if for any reason you can’t make it to the store, you won’t miss out entirely.
