The Sonik SK-47 Carp Rod range is for the more demanding angler that perhaps wants to invest a bit more into their kit in the knowledge that long casts can be made with ease. They are truly outstanding in both performance and price point. Designed to cover many different applications in carp fishing, these are an out-and-out work horse of a carp rod and suit the more serious angler.

From close-quarter-battles to long distance casting, the blank is exceptionally powerful, yet very forgiving at close range. Suited to those that want to be able to hit the magic 100yd mark. The range offers two 10ft models covering 3-3.5lbtc, three 12ft models from 3lb to 3.5lbtc a 13ft 3.5lb model and a 12ft Spod/Marker rod to match.

The HEROX series of carp rods offer a good starting point for the angler that doesn’t want to spend a fortune, yet still requires a rod that can cope with everyday carp fishing. The range would suit a returning angler or someone new to the sport or perhaps upgrading from cheaper carp rods.

Progressive power gives these carp rods true multi-range performance and of course they have the backbone to cope with large PVA bags and hard fighting fish. Ideal casting range is about 70-80yds. The blanks are quite forgiving and will cope with both margin fishing and longer casts. This range is probably the best value for money in the mid-market price point.

The Sonik Gravity range of carp rods are aimed at the angler who demands the very best and is likely to be fishing at extreme range. The high modulus, low resin carbon blank allows for an extra powerful casting action and features a superfast tip recovery!

In addition, the handle features an Anti-Torsion-Core, providing more power for casting without compromising the action of the rod blank. In comparison to the SK-47 the Sonik Gravity is more responsive and quicker in recovery. This carp rod is capable of casts over the 120yd mark…in the right hands.

Finished with a sleek, semi-matt armoured carbon and a slim Japanese shrink wrap handle the Gravity is in a class of its own. There are two 10ft models 3lb-3.5lb, three 12ft versions 3lb, 3.25lb and 3.5lbtc and a 13ft 3.75lb for the out-and-out distance seeker. There is also a dedicated 12ft Spod/Marker rod available.
