The team at Abu Garcia have put their heads together and have come up with an even lighter reel solution – the MGXtreme! At only 139g it is a whole 14g lighter than the original MGX, a feat which is pushing the boundaries of reel design and engineering possibilities.

The Abu Garcia Revo MGXtreme-L features no fewer than 10 bearings, all of which are purpose positioned to give the reel ultimate rotational stability – providing you with faultlessly smooth performance. These bearings include seven stainless steel corrosion resistant bearings, which work to reduce the friction in the reel and stop any saltwater damage from affecting your reels performance, as well two Cerami-Lite spool bearings which aid with the smoothness of your reels operation throughout your cast. Not only this, but the reel also features an additional roller bearing, too, for the ultimate bearing protection. These bearings work together to create a reel that offers seamless smoothness throughout its life, as well as enabling you to cast as far out as you like to hit all the features that are going to ensure a successful session.

The Revo MGXtreme-L has been fitted with Abu Garcia’s revolutionary Carbon Matrix Drag system too. The fasted, smoothest, and strongest drag system on the market, Carbon Matrix offer smooth control over the cast and a silky fish-fighting retrieve when you need it the most.
